According to a recent study by researchers at the UK University of Reading, MatrixylTM produces a clear anti-aging result by upping the overall amount of protein collagen produced within the skin. As many of us know… collagen produced within the body decreases as one ages. The researchers actually noted a doubling of the protein when patients in the study used MatrixylTM. And, while many products do claim to stimulate production of the necessary protein… some contain the actual collagen itself. However, the researchers at the UK University of Reading claim that the effectiveness of the ingredients used in most products are hard to prove. In fact, one professor from the study is backing the effectiveness of MatrixylTM and says if used… it will have an anti-aging skin care benefit for consumers, including the disappearance of wrinkles over time.
