MICROFIBER CLEANSING CLOTH IS A POWERFUL TOOL
Hello you gorgeous thing you!
The Microfiber Cleansing Cloth is a powerful tool; that’s putting it lightly. I want to chat about what makes it so powerful. I wonder if you love your Facial Microfiber Cleansing Cloth as much as I do. I’ve been using one for years now and can’t imagine what I would do without it. Aside from being kinder to your skin than a leave-on exfoliating acid, you can count on smoother, blemish free, glowing skin.
The Microfiber cleansing cloth is an amazing work horses that do a lot more than just thoroughly remove makeup. Using one on a regular basis keeps pores from enlarging by keeping them unclogged. Pores increase in size when they get filled up with dead skin cells, makeup, sweat, soap residue, grime and pollution. Oily skin types typically have more of an issue with larger pores due to excess oil secretion that get stuck in their pores, clogging them; but large pores can be genetic and can also get larger with age. Oh the glory of aging… but… that’s OKAY – microfiber to the rescue!
Our Facial Microfiber Cleansing Cloth truly makes your anti-aging skin care products work their hardest by allowing them to penetrate better. Imagine your serum or cream trying to get through a layer or two of built up of dead skin cells; not any where near as effective!
How often I use it:
I use it every day now; but I’m pretty gentle with it. That works better for me than a 3/x a week of more aggressive buffing. In the morning, I cleanse with the Microfiber Cleansing Cloth only. I wet the cloth in hot water, wring it out, swipe it over my entire face and neck using one side, then the other (including eye area… gently now!) and voila; my morning skin cleansing routine is done. At night, I cleanse my skin first with the Rhassoul Cleansing Bar (my current favorite), rinse and then use my Microfiber to remove any residual cleanser or hard water minerals that want to cling to my skin. I’m now ready for my night time routine.
Caring For Your Fabulous Microfiber Cleansing Cloth:
Giving it a good boil is the best way to clean your microfiber cleansing cloth, but I’m not going to do that every day, twice a day. I boil mine once or twice a week. I usually give it a good wash and rinse right in my shower with either the shower gel or shampoo I using. Then just hang to dry. I replace mine about every four months.
How I use my ‘Past Their Prime’ Microfiber Cleansing Cloths:
Well….. I use my “used to be new” microfibers to remove the majority of water off of my skin in my shower. I swipe it over one arm, wring it out and do my other arm, etc. It needs to be wrung out after swiping each body part. At that point, my skin is still moist and at the perfect stage to apply body lotion or cream. The moisture that’s left on my skin gets sealed in, which results in more hydrated, smoother skin. Of course, the microfiber cleansing cloth can be used in the shower on your body as an exceptional exfoliating tool as well.
I think they’re worth their weight in gold!
